Aerial photo taken on Sept. 20, 2019 shows harvesters cropping alfalfa in Ar Horqin Banner of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Local authorities brought in investment to develop the alfalfa planting industry in 2011, which helped to prevent the land from changing into desert. So far, the planting area of alfalfa has reached over 46,666 hectares in this banner. (Xinhua/Liu Lei)
