Once living in Kosirap Township in the remote area of Kunlun Mountains, 1,194 households were relocated to Tongan Township, 94 kilometers away from the original spot, in Aug. 2018. As a series of favorable measures were taken, the relocated town has gained access to power supply, better road conditions and health care. Furthermore, local authorities boost villagers' income by attracting investment and developing courtyard economy.
